Welcome to the monthly Sensational Shopping Guide where we will discuss all things luxury, bespoke, and fashionable in the French menswear market (ladies are more than welcomed to shop for the man-- or men--in their lives).  It is my pleasure to bring this column to you in conjunction with our global partner SensationnEllle.   In this, our first post we want to introduce you, the reader to the level of information you will receive from our future posts.

It is our goal to bring you the best of the best in luxury menswear in France so that you can become an educated consumer, and if you’re already educated we will help you further refine your taste to become exquisite.  We will bring you in-depth shopping profiles of French ateliers, designers, tailors, manufacturers, department stores new and old across the French countryside and in the streets of Paris.  Think of us as your virtual and physical guide book to the best France has to offer from the handmade and handcrafted to the artisanal and aristocratic (even if you aren’t an aristocrat you can feel like one shopping with us). 

This guide is created for English speaking globe trotters who are looking for the rare, the refined, and the re-splendent.  From apparel to accessories, to home furnishings and decor, our recommendations will include more than what you put on your back.  After all, clothes are only part of being sensational.  Stay tuned.
